Hello, and welcome to my blog. I'm a natural light photographer living in the Boise, Idaho area with my husband and 5 kids. I enjoy capturing images of all kinds, but I am truly in love with photographing newborn babies. The first days of life are precious and magical and so very fleeting. Feel free to email me with any questions you may have at info@LauraFarrisPhotgraphy.com. Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web :)

Fresh from a nap

Stella woke up from her nap the other day to find my friends Audrey and Alison with their babies at our house. She wasn't sure what to think of it. And since she was still a little groggy and quite docile from her nap I decided to plop her up on a stool and see if I could get a couple of pictures of her at 13 1/2 months. She's been so hard to photograph lately that I never did try a formal shoot at 13 months. So, this is what I ended up with.

Pretty darn cute.

Would you ever consider giving us some pullback shots of your setups? Pretty, pretty please??

She is beautiful! I found your blog through one of the etsy sellers. You do beautiful work! Do you mind sharing if these were done with natural light or studio lights?

Jovana. These were done with natural light.
