Nampa newborn photographer : Gwen's 25th day

Okay, I'm finally getting back to editing Gwen's newborn pictures. It seems like a never ending task. But I really am so glad I took lots and lots of her. She's changing so dang quickly it's a shame. So here's my sweet girl on her 25th day of life: I always wear a necklace that Ross got for me when Mason was born. It holds a baby ring with each of my kids' birthstones. The rings are so very tiny, I can't believe this actually fit her finger...when she was almost a month old no less.

Boise photographer : Just us girls...

It was sooooo nice and warm (hot actually) last week, that I just had to take my girls outside for some spring photos of us. I didn't know if it was gonna happen though, because as soon as we got to the this field, it started to rain and we had a looming dark cloud above us the whole time we were there. We felt like we had to HURRY before we really got dumped on. At one point, it cleared just enough for the sun to peak out so we quickly turned the bed for the backlight I had in mind. But I really wished we had been able to take our time. I would have soooo loved a picture of me with each one of my girls and of just the girls together, but at least I gota some of the 4 of us together so I can't be too upset. I'll treasure these forever. Thank you Emily for taking these of us!

Nampa newborn photographer : Growing so fast

I can not believe how much my baby girl has grown in the last 3 months. When we brought her home at 3 days old she weighed 5 lbs 10 oz. She was such an itty bitty baby. She's still pretty small at a little under 11 lbs. But when I see her newborn picture compared to her current picture, it makes me a little sad that she's changed so much. Just look at the difference in her bum and thighs. Crazy. Just love her.

Size really does matter...

I know that a lot of people think an 8x10 is a nice size photo to frame and hang on the wall. It's actually quite small and looks a little bit silly hanging unless it's grouped with several other photos. If you've got a decent size wall, you need a decent size print! Love the way that 30x40 looks. It would also be so pretty hanging above a crib in the nursery. I've got this in a 24x36 canvas above our bed and I LOVE it!

Nampa Idaho newborn photographer : Gwen's 21st day

Man, it's taking forever to get through Gwen's newborn pictures! It's hard to find time to edit them and honestly, I'd much rather be snuggling on the couch with her or playing with my older kids than sitting at the computer. Slowly but surely I'll get it done though. I'm dying to order her album and I can't do that until I'm finished with her pictures. So here's my Gwen on her 21'st day of life. She was so not so easy to pose on this day. She gets harder and harder to pose the older she gets. I was determined to get a few of her in her blessing dress and bonnet though.

Boise newborn photographer : Kallie

Just in time for Easter I got to use my bunny hat on 1 week old Kallie. Yay! I took her big brother Hudson's newborn pictures a couple years ago. He wasn't nearly as sleepy as his little sister. And I had a lot of fun photographing a sleepy newborn again after photographing my now 2 month old Gwen. My baby is now about the same size as Miss Kallie, but she sure doesn't sleep as deeply as Kallie did. Newborns are sooooooo much easier to pose than older babies!!! So here she is, the beautiful and sleepy Miss Kallie...

Nampa Idaho newborn photographer : Gwen's 19th day

I finally took a little break from Gwen's daily posed shoots. I wasn't planning to photograph her at all on day 19 but I couldn't help but grab my camera when Stella and Lily ran into my bedroom to say good morning to their new little sis. Can you tell she's loved or what!
