As much as I really wanted Gwen to go nuts and really attack her cake.....she didn't. We could hardly get her to touch it. She loved eating it cause it sure was delicious. But Bo and I pretty much had to feed it to her. Bummer. But we still got some fun shots of her despite her not wanting to get herself messy. She sure is a sweet little thing. I could snuggle this kid all day every day for the rest of my life and be happy and content.

Oh how I wish I could go back in time to one year ago today and relive one of the most special days of my life. As much as I hate c-sections, I would happily endure one again if that meant I could hold my baby girl for the 1st time again. There isn't anything in the world that has even come close to being as heavenly as seeing my babies and holding them for the very 1st time. Gwen has been such a joy and a blessing to us. We all love her so very much. I wish I could keep her a baby forever. I know all too well how quickly children grow up. There is something so pure and sweet about that 1st year of life. I love you Gwen XOXOXOXOXOXOX Mommy. Just a few weeks old.
