Hello, and welcome to my blog. I'm a natural light photographer living in the Boise, Idaho area with my husband and 5 kids. I enjoy capturing images of all kinds, but I am truly in love with photographing newborn babies. The first days of life are precious and magical and so very fleeting. Feel free to email me with any questions you may have at info@LauraFarrisPhotgraphy.com. Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web :)

18 months old : Nampa Idaho baby photographer

Okay, so I'm a little late posting these. Stella is almost 19 months now. December was just too busy to stay on top of everything.

So, how stinkin cute it my Stella. I'm so in love with this little girl. She's so fun and smart and sweet and snuggly and naughty and the most charming little thing in the whole world. I can't keep my hands off her. I probably give her at least 100 kisses a day.

so adorable Laura! You can see her personality in these photos! I know what you mean! I love kissing on my kids about a million times per day, even if I drive them insane!

Laura...are these done with natural window light? or are you using studio lights? Just wondering as I am strugging this time of year here in Oregon with the indoor window light. These are gorgeous!

Thanks Charlotte. I did use window light. It's coming from an east facing sliding glass door.

She's the cutest little thing! I can't believe how big she's getting, and I love that she tries to pose for you now (and I'm a little jealous too). Beautiful!

Thanks for the response Laura. My sliding door is a NW light source and I am finding I have to be right on top of it and have my iso at 640 or higher. Being right on the window doesn't leave much room for the backdrops when you have to use a backdrop stand....ugh....

Anyway, you always have such beautiful, crisp and clear images. I always enjoy visiting your site!

Hi Laura,
You don't know me but I'm a huge fan. I am having my 4th baby in July (I have 3 boys already) and I just had to tell you that I have been telling myself that I don't want a girl, and that I would be totally happy with another boy if thats what it is. But after pulling up your pictures of your sweet little Stella, I have to say that I actually caught myself hoping for a girl! She is so cute and you do such an amazing job with photography.
Thanks for your talent
Anna
