Hello, and welcome to my blog. I'm a natural light photographer living in the Boise, Idaho area with my husband and 5 kids. I enjoy capturing images of all kinds, but I am truly in love with photographing newborn babies. The first days of life are precious and magical and so very fleeting. Feel free to email me with any questions you may have at info@LauraFarrisPhotgraphy.com. Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web :)

A beautiful evening

I got my Nikkor 85mm 1.4 a couple weeks ago and have been dying to play with it outside. It was really hot out the other night but it was really beautiful too.

This is the best I could get of them both together. Stella is SO HARD to photograph these days! Cute little stink!

Lily looks so much like Mason did when he was three.

That picture of Lily on her side is amazing! I loved seeing her teeth too! They are both so adorable!

Beautiful pictures! How do you keep the girls eyes so light and clear in your photos? Mine always come out looking very dark!

Jacqueline, if you've got them facing good light then you'll get the catchlights in their eyes. In direct sunlight, a lot of times the eyes will be shadowed so it's important to find open shade to shoot in.
