Hello, and welcome to my blog. I'm a natural light photographer living in the Boise, Idaho area with my husband and 5 kids. I enjoy capturing images of all kinds, but I am truly in love with photographing newborn babies. The first days of life are precious and magical and so very fleeting. Feel free to email me with any questions you may have at info@LauraFarrisPhotgraphy.com. Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web :)

My boys & my new Nikon D700

It seems like I'm always photographing our girls lately and Mason & Bo get left out most of the time. Not that they mind. They'd much rather stay at home with their Pop. But every once in a while they've gotta take their turn modeling for their Mama. They always end up having fun and are glad they came. Especially when we stop for ice cream on the way home. That's always the funnest part of our outings.

And these are some of the very 1st images taken with my new Nikon D700. I'm trying to get used to the camera and the many differences between Canon & Nikon, but I think these turned out pretty well for my 1st Nikon shoot. I'll be selling my Canon gear soon and I'll post all about that when I get some extra time. Now, on to my boys.

And one shot of little Kali, Audrey's adorable baby. What a sweet little thing.

Thank you Emily and Audrey for the fun night and for taking these of me and my boys! I had tons of fun!!!

I'll post all about why I made the switch when I've got some extra time. I need to photograph my lenses and decide what I want to sell them for too. I'll get to it next week some time.
