Hello, and welcome to my blog. I'm a natural light photographer living in the Boise, Idaho area with my husband and 5 kids. I enjoy capturing images of all kinds, but I am truly in love with photographing newborn babies. The first days of life are precious and magical and so very fleeting. Feel free to email me with any questions you may have at info@LauraFarrisPhotgraphy.com. Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web :)

The Blues

This is one of my favorite families ever. They lived right across the street from us for a few years and were the best neighbors. We miss them so much. It was fun to see them the other night. The kids have grown up a lot over the past year and a half. The girls are little ladies now. Their 1 year old didn't want much to do with me or the camera. I haven't met a toddler that does for a while. His scowls are adorable though. Thanks for letting me take your pictures guys. Your family is beautiful!

It's come to my attention that in this picture, if you look right below their chins, you'll see a heart. Isn't that cool? I love it!

Kamryn

I had so much fun photographing this girl. I don't have much experience with seniors, but I'm so glad she asked me to take her senior pictures. She couldn't take a bad picture if she tried. So I've got lots to show. It was super hard to narrow it down as much as I did. Thanks for trusting me Kamryn. I hope you like these!

The Smith family

Here are a few of my cousin and his beautiful family. I'm so lucky to have so many great looking family members! The sun is pretty strong in most of these because of the time of day we had to shoot. But I still think we got some great shots. I experimented with some different colors on some of these. I hope you guys will love them! Thanks for being so patient waiting for your sneak peak.

Noelle's maternity {part two} : Meridian Idaho maternity photographer

So, here are some of my favorites from Noelle & Russ' shoot. Noelle looks so adorable with her little pregnant belly. I could probably post about 40 pictures, but I won't. I won't edit that many either. (sorry Noelle) The thought of it makes me tired. Anyways, I can hardly believe that my little sister is going to have a baby in a couple weeks. It seems like she should still be 12 years old. It's so nutty that she's an adult with a husband & a baby on the way! Time sure flies by. I really can't wait for their little bundle of joy to be born. She'll be one well photographed little girl. I can't wait to play! Thanks Russ & Noelle for trusting me to photograph you. I love you two crazy kids!!!

I can't decide if I like this one better in sepia or color, so you're gettin' a double dose of this shot.
